My understanding is - result of applicant failed in 1st round will be evaluated together with 2nd round applicants.  You are not required to resubmit the application form.

Of course, it is better to give school a phone call on this.

Actually I have the same concern as you previously.  However, after I have a site visit in the MK campus on interview day, I am impressed by its facility.  As spoke by Principle, the facility is really tailor made for junior primary (P1-P3).
Moreover, I do think software of a school is much important than its hardware.  Don't know you are agree or not.

Parent List is update

It would be a concern if there is issue on school bus, but nevermind, I will try to discuss with school, may be on registration day.

Personally speaking, I will not give up MK seat, put me back into waiting list and facing the risk of fail.  I don't think MK campus is worse than TKO campus given it is more suitable for junior primary.  Moreover, in long run, our children will go back to TKO campus 3 years later.

I arrived MK at 5:00pm.
I have asked the staff regarding shool bus issue from TKO and MK.  And she replied there is school bus running between TKO and MK.  

BTW, seems there are more than 30 files on the desk.  If it is the case, I think the no. of admitted students in first round should be more than 48 for both MK and TKO.  So, its means there is less than 48 available space for second round.

Very busy these days so that no time to check the message la.

To TT case, I have heard some advice that some parent will give up the 1st round and enroll in 2nd round, due to the reason that your child has more time to prepare the interview.

Anyway, my decision is to enroll in 1st round due to there are 1 more chance in 2nd round.

TT, hope you can be admitted finally.  Never give up!

I am trying to find out my daughter's classmates in the GT parent group, so that she will not be too nervous on day 1. (because I just have a look on a interesting topic of "Is your Kid nervous today".    )

My girl is studing in Creative Kindergarden in Lam Tin, please PM me if your kid is a student of the mentioned school.

Mami_King, thanks for your message.  You are right, we cannot represent our kid to say which type of school is suitable for her.  However, as our kid is too small to express herself clearer, we can only base on her characteristic and favour to help her on her development path.  When time go by, of course we will let her own/response something, but we will make the decision on behalf of her now.

Hi Freddielau,

Don't give up.  If GT is your 1st choice, be proactive to sent letter to principle in regular basis, e.g. a letter per 2 months.  I have listened that a parent did so and being accepted.

Long time no see.  Any update at your side?
My kid's kindergarden starts teaching 普通話.  She is happy in singing those 普通話 songs.  Hope she can catch up with the P1 lesson teaching in 普通話.
I have applied phonic course in her kindergarden as well, just because her pronunciation is not too well.

I will try to attend all course, although my daughter need to attend school sing class every sat morning.

Glad to hear you all not giving up the seat till now. It is supposed that many parents will give up the seat after so many school announced the result)
