We call foreigners for those catagorized by race (non-Chinese) and those ABC / BCC whose mother tongue is English.

The school groups them together in English class as they have higher proficiency in English.  However, they are split in other classes like Chinese and Mathematics.

I find my boy has been gradually picking up the accent of his NET teachers, though he still has some local accent.

No, grouping of every subject (English, Chinese and Mathematics) is made according to the respective learning abilities of the students.  

Some local students who have higher proficiency in English have the English class with the foreigners.
