北大朗誦比賽是否值得參加?

My child had prizes in most of his speech competitions but never had anything in 北大 competitions.

But that did not stop me from entering cos my main aim was for him to stand in front of an audience and just speak. It's this experience that I paid for. 北大 served this purpose as they had competitions once every few months.

Other competitions like 普師 are v good because well organised, fair, quality judges and quality participants. My child learned a lot from it and happy to get a prize. But it's only once a year. We needed more practice.
