Instead of joking, I really tried to ask my daughter, and her answer is :

" 1+2+3+4 = 10

5+6 = 11

7+8 = 15

So the answer is 10 + 11 + 15 = 36 law. "

Kids can really do it!  (But it took her 30 seconds to do it.  Maybe the teacher will think that it is too slow .........)
