Yes, parents should get more info of schools before they decide to apply. Anyway, the parents of those names in the waiting list should be happy to hear that one seat has been released.

I cannot find my daughter's name in the both accepted and waiting list. I think she was also rejected. She was interviewed by totally 3 schools. Now, only "音小" provides an offer to her.

剛剛培僑打來話收我個仔, 仔仔是有sec in, 但連waiting 也沒有, 突然打來話收我個仔, 都吾知讀吾讀好, 連咁多waiting都吾夠call , call 埋我地呢d 非後備生, 吾通佢地估計錯誤 ?

希望果d唔係真係想讀嘅家長就唔好去註冊,留返d位比真心想讀嘅小朋友,尤其是一d己有心儀學校取錄果d,唔好諗住註左冊先再考慮,因為仲有好多好多家長在等消息,就如我,請你地唔好再hold住d位.

但真係讀而又被取錄就快d去註冊

A letter explaining why your child and you want your child to study in PKC. What you had done before to prepare for entering PKC together with Phone call and knock the door in person. You have to repeat and repeat all those action and try to persuade the principle. This is the only method but the result may not be positive because only a small percentage had given up their seat this year.

Maybe some parents hold more than one offers for their kid at current stage. I don't have idea of when those parent will release the extra offer they hold, at the time of registration?

I like PKC so much and write to the principle immediately after we got the rejected letter.
Do you think we have the chance to get a seat?

I am not sure when they will give up their seat but may be till June 2010 and I can not predict your chance too. Just remind you to repeat and repeat knocking the door.

why not call the school? I got a reject letter, but my son only had one interview.

I also haven't rec'd any rejected letter. As I know PKC will not sent out any rejected letter.

Puikiufriend, I am not very clear about what do you mean "repeat and repeat knocking the door".
knocking the door as I know it means to hand in your porpolio to the school for their extra consideration. "repeat and repeat" means to send the porfolio again and again and again? Or it means call and call and call to the school? or it means to go in person to the school to wait there? sorry...stupid question about "knocking the door" but i would like to know as I am not from HKG.
