聽講證, 真的這麼重要?????

Hi all Ma Ma,

I receive an interview invitation in Sept for York, and it states we must attend the talk on 16 Oct, and interview on 17 Oct 09. As that day, I have to work so I didn't attend the talk.

Yesterday, York call me that if I join the talk for the coming Sat (31 Oct), then my BB can admit to York. I feel a bit ....not logicial...why the talk is so important??

Does any ma ma attend the talk on 16 Oct?? If you so, please tell me what is it about??

My BB doesn’t answer questions very well, he just follow teacher’s instruction to overlapping those blocks and he did point doll’s eye, nose and mouth when teacher ask “ where is doll’s eyes are”. But he doesn’t answer the rest questions.

Why you have strong interest in York? Can you share?

Oh, I see..

One of my colleague, she got a relative studied in York (now, she study in Good Hope)…she said English and maths are taught very good in York and have many extra-circular
activities but as you said everything need to pay, however, the school would not force parents to pay…just as own decision, so I think if your target is looking for an English KG, then this is will fulfill your target….

Well, for my BB, if SC not accept my BB, then I will choose York, I am same as you , I hope he can study in an English environment, path the way for an English Primary ma….

What are heard from my colleagues are :

York: Good at English and Maths but many things need to pay
Keen Mind: Good at reputation but poor administration. As you know, Keen Mind has N1, some N1 students will promote to K1, and Keen Mind do very bad at this calculation, so my colleague told me, they let you do admission but finally they found out there are actually no offer for your child.
