Ops... we received a call from the school bus nanny 2 days ago and confirmed the pick up time of the Sat is 8:30am at Tiu Keng Leng (the usual pick up point).

I just wonder if we could arrive before 9am.  The normal pick up time is 7:10am and the school hour is 8:10am.

What is Daily 7?  Also, what is the recommended list you mentioned?  Do you mean that there would be a recommended reading list for the kids?  Would the daily newspaper be part of it?

It's really a detail explanation.  With a quick glance of the web-site, I think I would subscribe it for my daughter.  It's so interesting though it's expensive.

Yes, my daughter is in 1A.  She also said that she needs to bring a box of crayon.  She drew many pictures today at school.  She said the teacher asked them to do some drawings while she is checking to reply slip of the notices.  It seems that the student need to hand in their reply slip one after one to the teacher.  The rest of the group would do some drawings.

My daughter showed me her pictures (6 in total!) hahaa.... I believe it takes quite a long time to check all the reply slips...

My daughter said she needs to bring Maths 1a (both textbook and workbook).  I saw the same items stated in her handbook.

I actually also verified with the time-table.  I found that she only got Maths class tomorrow berfore lunch (there is no textbook for Eng, VA, Assembly).  I think what my daughter said is true...  I only asked her to pack the 2 book (Maths textbook + workbook 1a)

My daughter chooses trumpet as well.   She actually has so little musical sense.  She choose Trumpet, solely because her best friend in class also chooses trumpet.  Ops... I am thinking, a trumpet is so expensive.  If she just choose this because of friends, I really doubt I should let her take the course.

Any advice?

By the way, do you know what is the best way to communicate with the teacher in-charge?   Do we need to inform the class teacher of the arrangement ?

I tried to send iMail through the School web-site.  It seems that there is no response.  I doubt there is other better way of communications....

too bad... I just read your message.  Did you go to school last Sat?  I missed the chance to ask you to do me a favour.  I need a brilliant pigeon to deliver my message to the class teacher.

Ohhh.... when's your next trip to school?  Probably, you need to work overtime to help out our P1 students.  We all have too many messages for the teacher.

Is it expensive to purchase the percussion instruments?  And, do you think percussion is easy to learn?  

Ar... I am considering an easy instrument for my daughter.  I don't think she could handle difficult one.  Her musical talent is just as 'GOOD' as mine.

Great!  P1 students could join 田徑 team?  My daughter joined Swimming School team.  She needs to stay in school until 4:30pm every Monday and Thursday.  She said the training is quite tough ! They need to keep swimming for 2 hours - non-stop.....

My daughter's ECA was just confirmed today.  She granted the first choice - Japanese Culture Club.

But, we still have no news from the musical instrucment.  Don't know what the arrangement would be.  Maybe we could ask the class teacher tomorrow.

Ar... just want to know if the score in those English Password tests is important.  Aiya... my daughter just made 2 careless mistake in the password test !!

Yes... the training of the school team is quite tough.  But, as you said, our kids need to be trained to accept more challeges. haha...

By the way, maybe I have missed the notice of the audition of atheletic school team.  My daughter likes running as well.  hahha... it may be good to miss out this one because there are really too many choices for the P1 kids and parent.  All the activities seem to be very attractive !!
