The headmistress of SPCC said so during the briefing session. However, I heard that there were "細仔"being accepted. I think all depend on the kid's performance during the interview. If he is confident and mature enough, the age will not be a problem.

每位同學可以在School Library同時借3本書, 另每個課室都有自己的Class Library.  校方沒有要求同學在Open House前要還書, 所以當日會覺得好少書咁.

我都有做Library家長義工, 個人覺得以小學圖書館而言,  藏書都幾豐富.  啲書除咗新淨之外, 新出版的書, 遲兩三個月, 學校已經有, 有媽咪話慳番唔少買書錢.

有Reading Scheme, 但不會強迫在限定時間內的睇書數目.

在canteen側,雖然只係小小一幅牆,但學校都用嚟整到變攀石場,真係好有心思.

原來d書好新,咁就好啦,可能因為剛參觀過一間IS,見到library有好多書,d小朋友又好喜歡閱讀,好似每星期要閱讀
數本書,所以好吸引. 我有d担心男仔大大下會無咁鍾意reading.

原來你都係家長 義工,果日見到的老師和家長都好nice,学生又好開朗熱心.好開心! 不如分享下要 不要幫小朋友做project?

I got it in the open day. To my surprise, only 40% of the students do their homework on their own. I think parents nowadays are more anxious than before. Moreover, most of the students can finish the homework in an hr ( forget the %),I think it's reasonable,but to be honesty,I like less homework,and if it can be finished within 30 mins,the boys can have more reading time and time for ECA.
The interesting thing is that, most of the students think Chinese is less interesting subject :cry: and seems it's common in EMI schools.

Anyway,it's only a survey,don't take it too seriously.
I really appreciate the effort of PTA so that I can know a bit more b4 the coming school year.

Heard that the orientation week for G1 students was 20/8-24/8 last yr. The time schedule for this yr is not yet ready.  Maybe we have to wait until June.

Thanks for your comments, I will go to Sai Kwong,do u think mid Aug is too late to buy uniform. I hope my son will be taller in the summer : .

Swimming class, I didn't join yet! I may consider if they still have place. How about you?

Instrument: the qualification of the instructors are high. (Heard so) But don't know their method of teaching..............Will u join the meeting in 15/7?
