does anyone know which primary school is for 資優 kid ?

No school in HK caters specifically for gifted children.  I can only tell you that my gifted child is studying happily in GT College.

Your kid is very 乖乖, right??

I don't think GT willing to accept those gifted child as they only selected those "乖乖地、坐定定 and potentially gifted child". As mentioned in 親子便利, Mr Chan mentioned tht will expect "有創意但聽教的"。 如果你個小朋友唔係聽教、乖乖嗰種 (有幾多此類gifted child, 尤真是男仔?), the chance seems not very high.....

My kid is gifted and applied for GT P1 (sent all the info/report to GT), but still not accepted.....其實,我個小朋友冇特別行

我囝囝在GT讀G5，我所觀察到的情況與你所說的不大相同。

我所認識的GT學生，大部分都很活躍，經常滔滔不絕；我囝囝雖然比較文靜，但卻會與老師"講數"，絕不盲從附和。

資優的定義可以很廣，並不單單只看智力評估結果。智力評估報告並非入學通行證，還得看小朋友和家長面試的表現呢！

其實我囝囝報考GT時，我們並不知道他是資優兒（如果以智力評估結果來界定），他是到八歲半的時候才做智力評估的。我也從來沒有把評估報告交給學校。

Thanks for your share!!  我都是近幾个月在偶然的機會下發视my kid is gifted.  佢地正如你仔仔一樣,有自已意見,會同你講數,不盲從附和。My kid got a very good memory,觀察力很強,很有創意.........(teacher told me he is smart,academic is gd).

很多朋友仔女在GT,佢哋鼓勵我報讀，因GT會更適合my kid之發展。我相信GT是very nice school,朋友之意見都讚老師很有愛心,校長更親力親為.....小朋友讀得很開心.....
其實, my kid 已有 offer, 只是我認為 GT 最適合其發展，是我們心儀及唯一首選學校。  只是"你愛人,人地唔一定愛你"....     
我只是only sent report to GT (as my friend said GT would consider, GT is the expert), 其他沒有....(沒有sent report的, 反而有機?)
Anyway, GT still my first choice, hope would consider us after someone release the seat....

祝願各父母為仔女揾到心儀學校，凡事向positive想....(可憐天下父母心)

明白你為人父母的心情，當然希望為孩子選擇最合適的學習環境。其實父母在資優兒的學習中扮演很重要的角色，所以即使未能入到心儀的學校，父母可以做的還多著呢！

Thanks a lot!  有資優兒之父母不知是禍是福? 此類小孩need guidance (they could be good/bad in future, very extrem case), 父母是需要很大 心機去栽培.....it's a long way to go.....其 實平凡是福  :  :

其實無論孩子資優與否，做父母的都一樣會付出那份心血去愛他們，所以不要憂愁，樂觀點，因為孩子是上天賜給我們最好的禮物。

我識個朋友佢都有attach個IQ report去申請GT, 最後都收咗.  咁可能小朋友in既表現佔咗好多分, GT收與否並不全睇個report啦!

當下年d名校收生有結果時, 到時GT應該會有位release番出來的.  唔好灰心呀!

另外, GT 的老師真係好好, 好有愛心. 特別是對住我個"好動"兒, 她們都非常之包容.

Thank you sonma, 可能my kid interview 當日表現痲痲(加上他不舒服-感冒+有鼻鼻)   )......我會繼續努力,不會放棄！一間好學校是很難得,會繼續爭 取!

你話幾諷刺....我呀仔上年報GT for P1 收左，但我無讀 .　返而去左政府學校, 三個月的小一生活, 簡直令我死去活來 .老師每日投訴我個仔,　唔係上堂攪攪震, 唔留心,周圍攪 ,　唔合群 ...　

後經証實是資優兒 (HK-WISC 146) ,現我想轉去GT,　希望佢有較大空間去develop .. :(

我個小朋友係G.T插班生, 報校時都有放埋份REPORT去, 不過唔知份REPORT同收佢有冇關係, 不過學校收一個學生應該係從多方面來睇呱.
呢間學校既學生比我既感覺係..大部份都比較好動,好有創意, 如果小朋友太文靜反而好似唔係太合適(呢個係我初步既感覺).
