Unless a student is very top in his class and/or with outstanding ECA achievements, the chance of getting in a Band 1 school through the 1st round is virtually zero.

丘佐榮應該係九龍城區內排尾二的英中，第一是陳瑞祺。

越來越好，已經算係Band1尾。不過水準都係參差些，渣個班都幾渣。

Thanks, Billy.  Then will the chance in round 2 high?  銀禧 or 黄芴南 are not top band 1 schools, remember that some people said that they can get it even if they put it as second choice. Right?

除華英開平外，其他英中做第二選擇都得（當然不包括喇沙Maryknoll協恩），全部我都見過有人以非第一志願入到。

當然，這並非必然，如果小朋友唔好彩抽包尾，都可能第二志願入唔到銀禧黄芴南。

Many people said that no. of EMI secondary school in Kowloon City Net is more than other district.
Is the no. of EMI schools are sufficient to allot to each sure band 1  student  in this net ? (Of course the boy puts an EMI school in the 1st place of his choice of school. )
Or it also depends on which school he chooses?Excluding Lasa, say Wah Ying the first, then second 加密, is it sure win?

If the kid is in Band 1, and the parent fills out the form with some common sense (some is enough), the kid will definitely get into an EMI school.

If you're asking for a "sure win", I prefer not to say yes.  But I would say it's quite safe.
