有關 gcse IGCSE IB問題，多多指教 ^^

弱弱一問，
1）點解有啲 IS 會分開2 年考gcse ? 係咪2nd language 會year 10 考咗先？

2）Gcse 同IGCSE 有咩分別？我見我學校好似淨係考gcse .


3）Gcse 有冇話最少幾科最多幾科？

4）係咪考完gcse 嘅科，就可以響2 年後IB 考？
5）IB 係咪一定只考6 科？
6）IB maths

• Mathematics: analysis and approaches SL
• Mathematics: analysis and approaches HL
• Mathematics: applications and interpretation SL
• Mathematics: applications and interpretation HL
  

這個是否由淺至深的排法？
7） advance maths / extension maths 又係乜？

8) Chinese / English language A/B 係咪都會考埋listening & speaking ?

我只懂IBDP, 試回答：
5）IB 考6科，三科HL三科SL; 當中有兩科語文、一科數學，其餘三科包括理科組/人文組/演藝組。

6）Maths: HL 範圍比SL 廣而深，AA 比AI難。

8）語文科有IO, 即oral presentation，但以往無聽過考「listening 」。不過語文科分ab initio, language B, language A, 至少要有一個language A；因此每組的考核情況可能不同。

咁我試下補充GCSE部分。
先答4）GCSE/iGCSE係英國嘅考試制度，而IBDP係源於瑞士嘅全球性考試制度。兩者唔係一脈相承，所以唔會話GCSE讀完就可以兩年後考IB。當然視乎個別學校，可能GCSE冇讀冇考嘅科，有機會唔可以IB揀嚟讀。

3）都話GCSE係英國學制，喺英國一般學生會考8-10科，有啲甚至會考到12/13科，冇咩硬性規定。我估香港IS一般都係考8科？視乎編堂時間表卦。

2）GCSE基本上係英國本土學生考嘅試，而iGCSE（i代表international ）顧名思義係設計俾海外學生考嘅試。就算係GCSE，英國都有好幾個唔同嘅exam board（例如Edexcel, AQA, OCR, WJEC等等）。而每個exam board嘅考核範圍，以至出卷模式都有唔同。iGCSE一樣（有CIE同Edexcel board），範圍同出卷模式同GCSE又可能有少少唔同。基本上學校（或者某科嘅科主任）會/可以揀佢prefer用邊個board嘅範圍，同埋試卷模式，所以會出現唔同科有唔同GCSE或者iGCSE嘅exam board嘅情形。

1）理論上GCSE或者iGCSE係可以分開幾年嚟考嘅。英國嘅學校唔encourage學生分開嚟考，因為GCSE其中一個主要目的就係睇下學生能唔能夠係一個年度嘅考試handle 讀8-10科唔同學科。拆開部分提早考左就冇咗呢個功能，但係對學校就方便咗，因為可以集中攻咗一啲科先。

最多人考9科 8科次之 7科隨之

任何科想取高分都唔易㗎啦。
我認識嘅國際學校學生，讀中文A或B都好少人提presentation 同listening難，多數是「寫」呢方面出事。
