你可以講尼啲搶錢，另一種講法中 filter out啲冇錢人加入。
俾得起嘅，唔覺得貴，又可以保持番富人嘅圈子，對將來出來社會有一定幫助。
又可以係窮人歧視。不過向來國際學校原意唔係俾我哋香港人讀，大家都知道外國企業請人都照顧埋啲子女教育醫療，入讀國際學校係佢哋嘅福利資源，只不過係我哋搶佢哋學位，攪到冇乜外國人想帶一家人來香港生活。

Geoexpat's education forum is pretty dead, same goes for the one under geobaby, averaging one new post or reply per week. Geoschools used to be more lively but is now completely dead.

Either there are much fewer expats coming to HK nowadays (not surprising), or they are only coming for short term assignments so tend not to bring their family.

If not the most important, student mix is a very important part in my definition of a genuine international school.

same here, student mix is one of the reasons for us to give up VSA for ESF (my child was from Vic)

But mind that ESF schools in Kowloon and NT have too many hk locals. Those on the hk side have better student mix.

教署指引國際學校最少七成學生non local, 但non local唔一定非菙人，我隨意google找到Shatin College 2015年10月年報，1180學生中有850 個Chinese (by ethnicity), 如 by nationality則有475是香港，可以預計學生中華人面孔多，但可能他們都是一口native Eng.  請不要誤会我对ESF student mix 有任何負面意見，我只建議家長对有興趣報讀的學校不妨花多些時間研究一下，看看是否自己那杯荼

my girl is now in Island side ESF, I would say around 1/3 local, 1/3 from other Asian countries, 1/3 Caucasians.. pretty satisfied with the mix :)

STC has lots of Chinese and they tops the IB average (when compared with other ESF).

華人和印度人學生多的學校成續好是合理的，每年ESF IB 滿分的多是華人和印度人

中國人同印度人學生鬥心比西方學生強，由其是數理方面，但體育及藝術創作唔及西方學生。

有啲家長唔喜歡印巴籍學生，所以佢哋唔會入讀國際學校，選擇本地直私，不過香港人口中除了中國籍最多，第二就係印巴籍，冇得避，我識唔少印巴籍，佢哋好多都好nice, 有愛心，只係某啲人對佢哋文化誤解，或睇得太多有關南亞人做壞事新聞。基本上，壞人係不分國籍，好人都係，不要以人種去評價人。

I do think schools (not just ESF) that have more asian students are usually more academic.
In fact, even in the US, those public or private schools that have more asians tend to have better overall grades.
Schools that are more academic might not be suitable for everyone.

Money is probably another main issues although not everyone would want to admit.
In any case, I do not think there are that many people that would avoid international schools just because there are indian students.
