Management Trainee 是高定低?是高呱...使唔使做大雜工,邊到要人去邊幫手?因有朋友孩子讀緊,可能自己估錯咗工種

This is a typical difference of similar programs provided by research universities vs college.
CUHK has always been a research university. PolyU was once a college.
So I would not be surprised if the program at CUHK are more theoretical while the program at PolyU is more practical.
I suggest that students go to the websites of the 2 programs, try to get a course list of the programs and see which one looks more like what they prefer.
Generally comments would be the program at PolyU "is better" than the one at CUHK. However, I am sure the one at CUHK still has its edge to attract students.
Just my 2 cents.

Novotel Citygate Hong Kong請緊Management Trainee ,monthly income係$14000, 記著酒店請得多實習,就知佢地缺人+對員工幾好啦, 3500蚊做一個月,
做酒店任何一個post,預左辛苦返shift。

朋友在香港的酒店業工作近二十五年，由低做起至高層，記得近日茶敘中，提過酒店業不須請酒店管理畢業生，覺得這個學位無乜用，因為酒店自己有良好培訓基制云云。年青人去讀多些語文，和各類基礎知識仲好，通曉外語，幾時加入酒店業也受歡迎喎。

自己不是行內人，只是轉述分享。
