Yes, certain teachers in HRGPS do not teach English very well.   There is 1 who speaks Chinese throughout the lessons.............

I know a lot of students from famous schools in Wanchai such as St. Joseph, Marymount, HRGPS etc. go to this language center to study English.  You even need to waitlist on some of the hot courses.

我個女的課外英文phonic都係learning plus攪的, 但就係在學校學的.

我幫你問左個同學仔, 佢係聖雅各報習, 但我估不係你朋友想要的補習, 因為佢地只係看住小朋友做功課, 有默書, 測驗, 考試就幫佢溫習.

同埋會suggest家長幫小朋友買d練習(提供埋出版商), 係補習的時侯做.

Not my son's teacher but was teacher of P3 last year.   I rather not have the name published as the teacher is currently still in the school.

我不知佢地的英文程度, 但我覺得我個女的班主任, 真係關心小朋友的, 家長日, 佢可以講返比我聽我個女的性格, 做埋分析tim.  我覺得佢不係一個只係交功課的老師, 而係真係關心學生的老師.

當然, 間學校甘大, 未必個個老師都有甘的水準.

我覺得佢地的貼紙獎勵幾好! 我個女就黎拿到40個啦.

Yes ah!  The lower primary teachers are generally very caring.  My son had the same experience too in P1 and P2.   He still talks about his P1 teacher now (because he found her very pretty   )

In the higher primary classes, both teachers and parents start to care more about results and the kid's potential.  As such, there will be grievances about the teachers' quality/mannerism......

Generally I am happy with my son's teachers to-date.

Did your girl make it to the "Top 50" chart?

老師問我, 佢成續同操行都甘好, 還反問我想點?

我同老師講, 其實我都好內疚, 因為時間擺晒係阿仔身上(佢有late development), 所以阿女自己全自動波都有甘的成續, 我都無其他要求.  如果佢繼續keep落去都有甘的成續, 我真係要感謝天父.

Well Done!!!          Maybe your girl can attend the prize presentation ceremony at end of school year with her good work.

Heard that this year's P1 top student for 1st term is a boy.  Just happened to overhear the mother telling people about his good results!   

By the way, my son did manage to get himself on that chart too.   :  


Did you notice that they now associate names to HRGPS?   

H - Honour, R - Respect, G - Grace, P - Peace and S - Service.
