有冇家長可分享心得？上屆DSE的面試情況如何？

已知男生最好要穿西裝，而有些學院會用埋普通話面試。

科大已開始邀請學生面試，其他大學是否已有？

請大家在此交流一下。

去年科大UST Business School面試是什麼形式，會問咩？

上年係group interview，都係出一條題目(內容唔記得，只記得同時事無關)，然後大家討論，用英文。

要formal dressing, 女仔要著裇衫, 西裙外套. 問一條group discussion問題' if you are a government department official, how can you promote no-smoking culture (practical ways)'. 跟住有自我介紹, 又問想入邊個business major, 點解等等.

I accompanied my daughter to attend an interview at CU. I discovered that all the girls wore black color suits. My daughter wore a white cardigan and black dress. Her dressing was quite outstanding because she was the only who wore white color top,. You know what, she was given an offer. I therefore think that you need noly dress elegantly but formal dressing may not be necessary. After all, the substance of the interview, academic and ECA are the most imiportant factors in making an admission decision.

科大有個Early Engagement Scheme, 通過學校refer 一些學生參加。聽阿仔說，學校大概揀了40名學生，問佢地有冇興趣參加這個scheme, 如果有，要選兩個科大學院，然後經學校將資料轉交科大。但我唔肯定係咪所有參加的同學會被邀請面試。

請問 interview 通知信中有沒有註明 formal dressing 呢? 如果沒有, 我覺得女仔的選擇會比男仔多樣化些, 簡單一件黑色 one-piece 再加件外套應該沒問題吧? 我的女兒比較矮小, 穿恤衫配西裝套裙好像會太過成熟, 怪怪的. 所以想向過來人了解下, 好作準備, 她今年已中五了.

Regarding the interview, both HKU and CU just gave you an e-mail and then called you to confirm that you were available for an interview. There was no mention in the e-mail that you should dress formally.

I think so long as you dress properly, tidely and appropriately, it is fine for a college interview.

我估大家(my daughter and your son)都是under this scheme。但我女兒所講的information 和你提的有少許出入。Ust invite applicants who will put courses of UST in band A for interview, but at the same time, school need to submit the academic results of those students which I assumed was for screening purpose.

Anyway, best wish to your son and, of course, my girl!

我個女上年就係校長推薦interview business School，佢已經係著裇衫西裙，但係去到個個著套裝裙，得佢一個唔係，搞到好突出，阿女都有啲唔高興。HKU 就寫明smart casual.

謝謝你的回覆，這個Early Engagement Scheme，是中六開始的嗎？

另外想知道，科大等暑假都有個課程，可以拿到學分，其實，參加呢個暑假課程對升科大是否有幫助呢？（猶豫是否參加，畢竟沒有這麼多時間。）
