Local primary + IB secondary is one option. If parents consider switching from local stream to VSA IB, they need to ensure the students could study in an English environment. I know of a few boys from St. Jo switched to VSA in year 7 and have difficulties in understanding teachers in class. Apart from Chinese, all subjects are taught in English in secondary.

一年級時, 還未有得join athletics and badminton team, 銅管 in school, so.....

Tue 10am Reading course
Wed 945am Chinese course
Fri 10am Maths
Sat Piano

*chinese, Eng and Maths 都係K3已開始上的, 我唔捨得唔學

朋友剛放棄了以上兩間去左ISF. According to her, 唔去St. Paul 係怕辛苦,而VSA vs ISF 則 ISF 比較優勝。我諗應該 St. Paul 好過VSA. 就算打算到外國升學, 讀本地學校完全冇問題,反而我身邊有數個case係由HK local school 轉外國因程度高,外國既學校主動要求小朋友跳一班,慳左一年時間. 我自己都係HK local school 去外國讀大學,年年攞獎學金。
小朋友都係趁小鞭策下好D. Besides, 係St Paul 隨時可入VSA, 係VSA 就幾難入得返St Paul.
