Is the playgroup good? How much $$ & how many hours per lesson? is it on Saturday morning? Oh sorry... too many questions...

There are Sat playgroup and Weekdays playgroup.  sat playgroup is in the morning while weekdays playgroups are in the afternoon.  2 stream for weekdays playgroup. Mon & Wed is pure English while Tue & Thur is Eng/PTH.  1 hour per lesson with free play, circle time (singing, dancing, story telling, etc), playing games, doing artwork, play time in playground.  I think their style is quite ' relax' but it surprised me that they teach alphabets.  Weekdays is $200 per lesson.   sat is more expensive, seems $250 per lesson (I don't really remember).  need to join 1 session at least which is 1 or 2 months, depends on the time schedule (i.e. usually around 8 lesson per session).  There's assessment report for every 2 sessions attended.

If you want your child to go GF, then i think its worth to go their playgroup becos it will give your child more chance to attempt to the environment and teachers. Or else, honestly, its just playgroup, you know, nothing really very special compare to the one in the market

Thx a lot~~ is the waiting queue very long for Saturday playgroup (like those playgroup on Victoria? need to wait for 10 months for a placement !!!)

Is it a famous one? I think I will compare the fee level coz' GF's fee is comparatively high when compared to those famous kinder!  But of course, you also need to include the school bus fee if you need to travel by school bus to Kln Tong but not in GF.  

As I don't have other better offer (other than York but only head start class is provided in Feb next year), I will continue at GF in coming Sept!  And since recently, the school has helped me to switch my kid from pm to am class, I find really no excuse to change to other kinders at the moment, unless those famous kinders that we're on waiting list have offer finally!

I have no idea and you may call the school to check since they're very nice to answer your queries!
But I guess it won't be as full as those famous one.
BTW, I didn't try their PG before!  So I can't give any advice!
But what I can tell is my kid has great improvement after going school.  He always sings (sometimes in PTH song) and has more to talk e.g. sunny day, rainy day etc.  And there is 1 homework each day (alphabet, numerical, colouring, drawing lines, song book, PTH etc).  I like this style rather than no homework.

But when I calculate thoroughly, Kln Tong school fee is around $4,xxx but you need to add school bus fee say $1000/month & also misc. fee say $1000/semester, it's nearly the same!  At least now, I don't need to travel by school bus!

I got York K1 offer but not PN, so I will let my girl go to GF in coming Sept.

BTW, is your also big b and so can study early?  Which month you joined GF?  Mine joined since March!

Yes. GF is less expensive. TT monthly fee is $7500 (although we paid the $7500 deposit already ...)
