The answer : you need to state that you give up the allocation.

Just write down "already accepted by (name of the DSS)" on the form.

直資要求學生在七月九日註冊，並要遞交由教育局發出之「入學註冊證」。
我曾問直資員工，她說「入學註冊證」是由小學派的，但我問小學，她又說不知道。小學還猛叫我必須肯定直資已收了我女，才好在大抽獎的表上填寫及說明不參加統一派位。我說女兒已交了留位費給直資及上了Induction Programme，但老師還勸我一定要肯定喎。
1) 我想問什麼是由教育局發出之「入學註冊證」？幾時才收到？會在七月九日前嗎？
2) 怎樣才肯定直資已收了我女兒呢？我真的俾小學攪到有d亂！

要在大抽獎申請表空白地方寫上"巳被xxxx中學取錄，並放棄參加統一派位"。把表格上填1-30志願的格劃掉 (cross them)。
妳女兒的小六學生証已在上次註册時(即接受offer)交回直資學校，它應已呈上教育局。七月放榜日小朋友的派位証會列印上直資學校的名稱，我們要返回直資學校辦理正式註册手續。 Besides, parents 已簽了undertaking, which is the documentary proof of the acceptance of DDS' offer and your kid's waiver of central allocation.

You're welcome.
My daugher was subsequently accepted by another DSS. After listening to the class-teacher's advice, we made a change.
Hope your daughter have very good secondary school life!

oh! really? I suppose you are pro-NPL very much but wonder why you suddenly made a change. Do you mind to share which school you have changed to and how it's better than NPL. It's really too bad to hear it; anyway, wish you and your daughter happy and healthy always.

Yes, NPL is one of my favourite schools actually. I completed the registration instantly when we had got NPL's offer.

When we got the offer from St Stephen's, we have indeed struggled for a couple of days whether we should make a change as both schools have their own merits and attractions.
Finally, I think as long as my daughter is happy with SSC's environment and the regular boarding life, I just let her try and hope she can enjoy her college life - though really expensive $$$ (要慳d駛啦

) and 唔係好捨得佢寄宿

We can still share our experience here, whether happy or anxious, though our kids will study in different schools.

It's really made me surprise to know you agreed to let your daughter to study in SSC. It is really far away from your home (Mei Foo, right?!) Nevertheless, it's a good school with excellent environment. Let's keep in touch and feel free to PM me anytime.

Same as you. I really don't want my daughter to be boarding. That's why I have rejected other school offers which a very long travelling time is needed. Nevertheless, I respect your decision and noted it's really a tough decision to make. I believe your daughter will understand you and enjoy her new secondary life if SSC.

No need to say sorry wor!!! Of course, let's keep in touch!

In fact, my kid's classmates turned down SSC's offers due to its remote location, which is understood.
