阿女今年小二, 英文麻麻地, 想加強佢d英文,
應該學 phonic? or 英文基礎班?

英文基礎班是學什麼?

我個人經驗，英文考試主要分未見過的閱讀理解，及功課做過和默過的字，閱讀理解首要理解英文章，要多睇課外英文書，理解其中的內容，其他就都與功課有關，明白之外就是理解題目點樣出法和點樣作答，當然補習社或者補充練習會教妳。

phonics 一定要學，學左就會明白英文字點解咁樣讀，自然乜野字都可以讀到及記到個字點串，英文基礎班我唸主要教 Grammar，睇多 d 英文書，明白左多 d 英文文章的結構，及與 Grammar並行就是，個人愚見

It is because someone said that it should be leart in K1 ~ K2.

Some people told me that British Council is good, but my daughter learn English from ESF, the teacher are very patient and they know how to motivate the kids on Writing, Story sharing and Reading through games.

But if your kid not yet learn Phonics, it's better start with it first. It is a MUST. And it also help your kids during Dictation!

ESF or British Council offering different level of English training to the kids. They offer native english speaker to conduct the class. It is very impressed by my P2 daughter, she can write some short stories during the class (on the first term of P2).
