The last chance is to get the letter today.

School send out the letter on last Friday. If you live far away from TKO, you must get the letter from school one day later. Means Monday or today.

Otherwise, the chance to get the letter is zero.

Like me, I got the letter from GT which is one day later than the BK mention. Therefore, if I cannot get the letter today, I will have no chance to get it.

I called the school yesterday. They mentioned that only shortlisted candidates will receive notification. The reject letter will be sent on Dec 19.

yes, very confusing. some people said they phoned DGJS and got the answer "all letters already sent out last week". But some other phoned and got the answer "letters are still sending out in different batches". Can anybody clarify ?

When I called them, the staff firstly said they're still sending letters and asked me to wait. However, I kept on asking them when will be the last batch of the letters and how long should I wait for. I said politely that since we're in the first year of new format, I'm so nervous that I would like to know as much as possible as there are no briefing session, no indication of 2nd interview when we submit our application...etc. Then the staff said politely that they have indeed sent out all the letters last Friday. Since Monday is a holiday, so they would expect a delay of receiving the letter. But it won't be delay more than a week. So she said if I do not receive the letter by Friday, it means the application is fail....

That means Nov 2,3,5,6,9 five days now...Any others ? Just wish to estimate how many princesses have been shortlisted...

I think we won't know for sure who will be rejected until mid of Dec as we have no information about how many rounds of 2nd interviews will they conduct and whether eventually all girls will in fact be asked to go for 2nd interviews ... until Mrs Dai has made her final decision. Let's keep our hopes then.

DGJS arrangement this year is not well planned, it seem they suddenly changed the rule of game by asking 1 more stamped self-addressed envelope for sending out 2nd interview letter. Other schools like St Paul Co-ed seem more well planned beforehand with the correct number of envelopes required. I don't mind to provide 1 more envelope, but it is really a wastage as I guess almost 1500-1800 additional envelopes will be thrown away and hope that they will shred the unused 3rd envelope so that our addresses and child's names will not be disclosed by rubbish collectors.
