本來打算自己bring snack food for my son's and no need to pay $300 per month for school, but the teacher said that this is not a good for my kid & unhappy if he will see the classmates will have a snack from the school.

May i know every mama will same as my mind bring the snack for the kid or not?

請問你知唔知係咪一定要JOIN(定係隨家長決定可JOIN可唔JOIN), 我都諗住自己帶SNACK FOOD俾我小朋友喎, THKS

Yes. The snack fee is optional. Did you attent the introducation event on 4/11, my son's so happiest on that day.  You decide 100% let you child to studing at SN in K1 in 2009?

THKS! 係OPTIONAL就好喇, 因我係怕學校既野食我小朋友唔肯食, 自己準備俾佢起碼佢一定食, 如果佢真係想食學校既茶點我先再JOIN IN(我諗應該可以掛)~ 我都係11/4 1:30去, 我小朋友又係玩得好開心, 個日去聽校長個簡介, 都幾好, 起碼唔HARD SALE先, 我同DADDY都幾滿意間學校, 如無意外2009都會係入讀SN, 因我重有一間KG WAITING緊, 所以唔敢答你100%入讀, 95%啦~

Yes. Me too same as yours, still in the waiting from one of the KG, but i think no hope under such high competition this year.

Anway, please note we need to pay 1st deposit before 4/18. Otherwise, the seat will be given up for others.

Hope we can be a new friend later.

比唔比小食費,是每位家長的自行決定,學校要尊重,亦要局住接受,我知道有很多K2及K3的小朋友都是自行帶備

如果個仔唔係個口,我都不會這樣 ...

I also have the same concern -... but the teacher said that this is not a good for my kid & unhappy if he will see the classmates will have a snack from the school. So likely i will join the school's snack for the 1st term first, and observed if many students bring their own one.  BTW, i was late to the principal's talk section. Did she mention or anybody who had asked what the snacks are?

BTW, my girl was almost the smallest in the class (from the list in this forum), but she has ~30lb.  The teacher said that S size is enough for her.  I found that if she takes M size, the dress was around 2 inches above the ankle.  But she will only start the class in 4+ mth time, i am not sure if S size is still enough?    Anybody can share your experiences?

我以交了HK$3,625 & JOIN THE SNACK FEE,　
因仔仔說喜歡食學校東西，比他心理上在開心些．
問過MS. NG，會派有營養東西給小孩吃．不用擔心．
校服方面，仔仔現40lbs,　穿中碼　(3 YRS IN AUGUST)，但我訂了大碼，因MS. FUNG 說買大一個碼會好些，等到９月不怕唔
不到，　而且可穿ONE MORE YEAR LA.

我無 join 學校的點心, 也是寫信連同支票一同寄出.
打算自己帶會經濟些, 又安心些.
另我小朋友都係著中碼.

just brought my daughter to the KG again today and eventually i picked M size for dress and PE set, but S for the summer sweater (as the latter is indeed quite big). We eventually paid HK$3,625 even though the snack fee is quite expensive
i heard that we will receive letter around end Jun to collect the uniform.

Dear Makmavis,

Same with my son, his now 40lbs (3yrs in Sept.,), but order the uniform are L side, and also paid the HK$3,625 & join the snack fee.

我無 join 學校的小食, 只是訂校服及交雜費, 自己安排帶會慳番d同知道個小朋友吃左d咩.

我都係無join到茶點, 校服訂左M size, 我覺得d褲仔短左d, 可能我慣左俾4個骨d短褲仔俾我小朋友著啦, 因老師話校服個cutting係短身既, 如果學校冷氣唔太大都ok既~
