我的仔仔都無份2nd interview, 我以為一定out, 原來要等15號先知.  其實當日仔仔病都話要去interview, 我覺得無論成功与否,都唔重要, 得就當bonus.
希望各位家長唔好俾壓力小朋友, 其實咁細個小朋友在20mins中, 可以test到什麼?? 就算fail,亦不代表差人一等, 以後還有好多路要走, 一次p1 interview算得是什麼呢.

昨天，我看到 2nd interview 的 name list 時，也很失望，因為囝囝 interview 時表現也不錯 (據他所說，他能明白及回答老師所有的問題、完成了七塊puzzles、大聲唱 twinkle twinkle little star 及表演空手道)。但結果卻是:榜上無名。最初，也覺得陳守仁收生有可能內定，但想深一層，自已覺得囝囝OK，但事實上有很多小朋友比佢更加醒。

其實，只得短短20分鐘的面試，再加上主考老師的主觀因數，小朋友不能入選，亦不能完全反映小朋友的能力及潛能。家長們也不應太計較成敗得失，既然小朋友巳經盡了努力，我們應該以平常心去面對結果。

需然，囝囝不能參加 2nd interview，但我仍會為 6-11-04到陳守仁面試的小朋友打氣，祝成功！

I would like to share the following:
1)One of my best friends is a famous school's teacher. I did question how can a school tell about a kid in 5-10 mins interview. Her answer is: the school may not tell how smart the kid is but they can tell how well the family education is. They pay attention at kid's behavior eg  rude or spoiled, etc.
2)About high school, if your kid is smart, he/she would definitely get accepted by a good high school easier. So, whether TSL has a train-through high school is not such a big issue. Definitely, it would be nice if it has.
3)My husband like TSL as he likes our kid studies at multi-cultural environment, so that she learns to respect and explore more about other cultures. In open day, those Indian students behave very well and smart.  Please think about that one day if our kids study overseas and people discriminate your kids, what would be your feeling? We should respect every cultures in the world.
4)I would NOT say that it is a perfect school. However, at this moment I can only tell my kid should enjoy the schooling base on her character and the school's vision. If it turns out not the way I expect, I would just switch her to other school. It is not the end of the world!
5)Learning is a life-long process. Kids should enjoy their schooling and build the willing to learn attitude while they are in primary school. Any one of you remember what you had learned from primary school?

每一位小朋友都會唱歌或會'預備'一些歌，你唱童謠、有的唱世界歌謠，但你唱甚麽歌？！用甚麽態度去唱？！有的開心自若，充份表現自信、有的像背誦、更有的垂下頭連老師都不敢望...雖然大家都完成一首歌，但結果就大不同！
眼神-真聰明還是假聰明，小孩子裝不來。
最後還有說再見的禮貌，自發的還是公式的。
這無論於學業上或品德上已大致可看出是導發的還是填鴨的家教。

簡單的如在街上問路，只短短時間，你也知對方是熱於幫人還是無禮又無情！有的唔識路都會幫你問人，仲同你講'唔好意思，有的識路都唔答你！

當小朋友初出世時，一個哭聲，初為父母的已手忙脚亂...但曰子久了就有經驗知怎樣分辨，是pu pu 、吐餓、還是其他。

更何况有教學經驗的老師，我們都會看錯人，我們能怪別人嗎？短短時間，別人能發揮，為何自己不能？！人的主觀，環境因素...但只要盡了力就是了，勇於面對，就能更上高樓。不要忽略經驗的寶貴 。

教導小朋友，鼓勵永遠比藉ロ好！難道你想教出多多藉口的小朋友嗎？！ 到時你會怎樣？！你會怪自己，還是小朋友，是老師還是其他人？！

我相信每個家長都認為自己子女是smart 的，但自己見工面試都有時表現不理想，何況小朋友？每個面試父母都知大概會考什麼，所以都well prepare,問題係表達及表現如何，是否合老師心意。我們不能怪學校沒有選自己子女，總有人落選，若不成功便埋怨他人，用這態度教兒女我想父母本身亦要檢討。

難怪調查發現做了父母的人大多判段力下降。
