ANY RECOMMENDATION FOR INT'L KINDERGARTEN?

Dear all BK Mummy,

This is the first time for me to find Kindergarten for my son.  Now my son is 21 months old, so he has to go the kindergarten next year.  As I know, I need to register for my son this year.  Could u reommend which Int'l Kindergarten is better?

Anyway, Thanks for your suggestion & opinion!

I live in TseungKwanO, but I would like to choose Int'l kindergarten located in Kowloon Tong.  Because my friend told me that the quality is better.
I would prefer half day only, do u have any suggestion?  Thanks!

Thanks for all your opinion!
Now I'm facing another problem.  My son doesn't want to speak always, although he can point the thing what I say to him.   I'm worry if he will fail in the Kindergarten's interview.  This saturday I will bring my son to the doctor.   I feel .....  I don't know to say my feeling now...

Thanks for your information!!!
As I'm a new mother, do you know if the quality of the kindergarten you mentioned is good?    I really want to choose a high quality of kindergarten, cos'z I'm worry if he cannot attend a good primary school.   
But, anyway I will bring my son to the doctor first and try to let him speak.  Actually my son can understand what I say and knows a lot of vacobularies & can point all the things that I & my husband speak to him.

Pls recommend some better Int'l Kindergarten but the school fee can not so expensive. Around HK$ 1xxx to 2XXX per month and it is located at Kowloon Tong.
As I know, some famous kindergarten request over HK$ 3000 per month. I am so hard to afford it. so pls advise!

How about Yew Chung?  Is it good? Expensive? When should I enroll my kid?  Like when she's 2 years old? Or even earlier?  I'm living in US right now and plan to go back to HK soon.  So I don't know how this enrolling works in HK........ Thanks in advance for any information.

Thanks for your sharing regarding the international schools on Kowloon side which gives me a better idea of the options available.  

I just wonder why you don't put your younger child to ESF kindy as well but instead send her to Anfield or YMCA?  Has your daughter tried Toddler's World of YMCA before?  How does it compare with Anfield?  I'm not sure which school offers better playgroups but eventually I want my daughter to continue thru kindergarten in the same school if she is accepted.  And I'm thinking about Anfield or YMCA.  Kingston is too expensive and Anfield is marginally affordable.

From your comment, Anfield seems to be a good school but I've also read about comments that:
- some of their teachers are English-speaking but not native speakers?
- they are very commercial, i.e. lots of charges, e.g. application for K1 already costs you $800, application for playgroup costs $380
- the principal was more like a manager than an educator
- it's a profit-making organization

Instead YMCA is a non-profit Christian kindy but
- their classrooms are not as nice (classrooms along a long corridor, no outdoor playground)
- less Putonghua

May I ask why you'd choose YMCA too if your daughter was attending Anfield playgroup?

Any parents of Anfield or YMCA kids here please share your views.

ESF kindergarten is based on first come first serve.  So How old should apply/  Which ESF kindergarten does your child study?
