I don't know we are so close together, I am living in Ma On Shan as well!!  Quite surprise that the school bus picks up after 7 pm.  My daughter who is studying in Kowloon Tong, gets on the bus around 6:45 am and won't return home until 4 pm. I feel very sorry for her.  Anyway, is your daughter taking school bus or other school bus company?  

Bevis318, thanks for your thoughts as well.  It's true that a good university is expensive.  Yeah, I should invest it on him now, who knows what's going to happen?

我記得上年小二有以下英文Projects/Tasks：

1. "Making your favourite room" - Use recycled materials to make a room of a house. Label all the things in your room.

2. "Making a menu" - Imagine you would like to open a restaurant. You need to make a menu. Please design your own menu and make an oral presentation.

3. "Making a chart" - Ask your group members how they come to school. Make a chart.

4. "Making a report" - In pairs, make your partner's day report.

5. Making a 'My Relatives' Book - Make a zig-zag book. Stick in photos of your relatives and write about them.

6. "Making the signs for your library" - Design the signs for your library.

我相信這些就是你所指的"每月要做一份的英文 Project"。但這些都是很簡單的。孩子可以自己處理，家長可能不覺得是Project，因此Amandakok說冇見過。

Amandakok，妳們今年無這些tasks嗎？

不過，把它們形容為"每月要做一份的英文 Project"，好像有點失實。

唔好睇少以上那些好像和學英文關係不大的小勞作和小創作。在中文小學裡，英文難有國際學校的『語境』。要小孩的英文能力好，要靠另一個元素：『興趣』。因此英語的課堂設計不可太刻板。小孩學了英文後，不是只寫作文，他們可以運用英語，做些小創作。這些活動會令小朋友感到學習英語的 樂趣，而不刻板的課堂就可減少學生害怕艱深的英語。

請問一年兩次exam. 壓力大嗎, 會唔會排名次架 ? 平時test & dictation 多嗎 ?
