We are excited to announce that the Government of Canada has recently made changes to travel restrictions and exemptions that will permit some students of visitor to study in certain provinces of Canada. As of October 20, 2020, international students will be allowed to travel and study in British Columbia.
In order to enter Canada and study in the Richmond School District, international students will require the following:
- A self-isolation plan;
- A Letter of Introduction/Approval or a Study Permit from IRCC; and
- A Letter of Support from our Office;
Parents accompanying their elementary child:
Parents will be allowed to accompany elementary students who are studying in our program, if they have the following:
-A valid entry/re-entry visa to Canada;
-A Letter of Support from our office; AND
-An approved written authorization from IRCC to travel with their child. More information can be found on the IRCC website
