我阿仔都是兩歲, 在循道衛理中心西灣河綜合青少年服務, 有個親子學樂班, 好平呀, HK$80 四堂. (Every Saturday)Personally, I feel it is OK la. The place is neat and tidy.
The course is suitable for 1.5 yrs to 2.5 yrs old. There is singing, some activities e.g. playing balls and 手工, one hour for one session. Last time we play 彩虹傘. At that age, the kids are a bit苯手苯腳. So they are learning through the activity. Of course the Centre is not for commercial purpose. They provide the service for 社區 . So the price is cheap. They also provide many courses for toddlers and young children as well as 親子outing.

我朋友剛剛同我提過親子學樂班, 佢個契女都有參加, 仲好鐘意. 我住愛蝶灣, 不過唔覺有呢個中心, 請問近邊度, 係咪係愛東村裏面, 同埋幾點上堂?

你住愛蝶灣就fit哂,係愛善樓地下,near McDonald, 出了愛東商場靠左行就見到,上堂時間是11:45am - 12:45pm, 隔離是協康會,都有playgroup, HK$800 per month.

Jo Jo, 協康會都係愛善樓地下. It should be HK$810 per month (9 sessions), every Tuesday and Thursday. I don't remember the time exactly. It is somewhat 10:30 – 11:30am. I go and check it for you tomorrow. For second time comer, the price would be reduced to HK$720. You can also enjoy borrowing and playing toys in the centre / bring home.

Kilam, you can also go there by 紅van (筲箕灣小巴話愛蝶灣有落). The紅 van goes pass Taikoo Shing, then Sai Wan Ho, then go to 愛蝶灣.

Sywong, I think your kid is too young. He may not follow the activity since it requires 做動作. Wait for further few months until he is 1.5 years old. However you can have a look first.

I haven’t joined this playgroup before. So I don’t have any comment on it.

BB819, , 我都打算出年比阿仔讀k1. I have been to筲基灣愛東村間循道衛理幼稚園問過. I think their approach is also a traditional type. However Shaukiwan is an old district. 循道衛理幼稚園 is comparatively new and also it is a Christian base kindergarten. I also asked which primary school did their students enter. They said 官立, 基灣,  循道小學, 衛理小學.., Up to now, I would put it as my first choice. By the way, I would also search for others and make comparison.

But I would like to give you a tips.  If you want your kid learn a lot, you need to communicate with the school teachers closely.  If possible, join all the course offered to parents, almost no addition fee, but need your time to learn how to provide good education to your kid at home.

Their "roject Approach", "Children Leading Learning, with Teachers' assistance" teaching method will help the kids learns lots of things...

But you have to get prepare that your kids will not have lots of homework, nor do a lot of writing in K1 or K2...However, it does not mean that your kids learn slower than other same age kids....Like my daugter, she is now attending K2, just start writing Chinese Character "Ming"....seem simpler than kids in other kindergarten.  However, she love reading and is able to read many many Characters.  The key point is that her teacher is know how to ride on her class's interest and stimulate their desire to look for knowledge, explore new things by herself, not just able to read, to write, to discuss.  In addition, on top of knowledge, Creativity also led them to care other school mates....
