津校中學轉直資的原因，其實係因為接龍死期將於2015年，接龍就要接收晒所有小學部學生，即意味著中學收生取決於小一派位機制。若不接龍，2019年就會跟從教局指引，取消所有直屬和聯系關係，這樣中學便不能接收大部分小學部學生。因此，中學紛紛選擇轉直資，可以保持原有的收生百分比了！

無消息話MCS會轉直資，我只係話中學如果轉直資，它並非放棄接收直屬小學部嘅學生，而係唔想全部照單全收啫！

我無講過MCS會轉直資喎！我只係講接龍、聯系和直屬學校嚟緊幾年的改制，是導致中學轉直資

呢個接龍死線，因為太多不同意見，教育局已經宣布延遲了。我記得是幾個月前看星島的報導的。大家可以上網查吓。如有記錯請更正！

記得是2010年公佈接龍限期延期三年到2015年，之後就無聲氣了！

As far as I understand from a contract teacher assistant at one of the most famous Catholic Boy's school on the HK side, the Catholic church is hesitant to change its schools to DSS because the church hopes to continue providing quality and affordable education to the general public ( kinda like a charity thing).

Don't ask me why has some Catholic schools changed and why some tried. The church's values are to preserve and provide for the needy.
