我都想知

真係太新, 唔知如何, 我係下午交表時, 見到d 學生(may be p.1) 係度自己走黎走去, 阿sir 企埋1邊, 又唔見有咩運動用具, 學生又唔係做緊任何運動

無幾耐交完表見到阿sir用廣東話(唔係英語or普通話)叫排隊, 所以我都好想知pui kiu 實際如何?
(以上只係我在短短數分鍾內睇到的情況)

據我所知，該校上午上中英數主科，用英文及普通話教學，下午則有兩天體育、1美術、1音樂、1生活體驗，由於下午的課堂是外聘專業教練上課的，所以我想下午的課堂是用廣東話的。
學生在走來走去，阿Sir企埋一邊？會否當時是體育堂的休息時間呢？因我以前在體育受訓時，都有休息及自由活動的時間。
這校好不好，就靠自已多觀察吧！

如果有機會觀察就一定會觀察, 但無咩途徑直接觀察到, 只可以靠讀緊pui kiu既家長分享經驗同實際情況, 因為新校真係第1年, 真係口碑又無, 成績又未見到...

兩位:
小女現讀培僑書院,本人覺得學校的校長及老師都很用心地去
辦學, 教學方針亦非常明朗. 新的學校開始一定會有混亂的地
方,但相對其它新校培僑書院已經做到很好了.

My friend's son studies in F.1 there. HIs son joined a 2-weeks drama camp from end of Aug before having formal school sessions. She told me that all the F.1 students are required to stay in school for lunch. Also, there is no homework doing at home so far (all the homework are finished in school). Only 1 exam a year. Therefore, both my friend & her son look quite enjoy & relax up to now. Not sure if it is only the honey moon for F.1 students. At least, my friend is happy with the school educational scheme.

Do there any parents receive the confirmation letter for interview on coming 22 Oct 2005?

I have also submitted the application form, but not received any further information yet.

Does anybody know how the interview will be ?? what will they do and for how long ?? In Cantonese, English or Putonghua ??

你地小朋友ｄ英語同普通話能力係咪高左好多？因為我比較concern 佢地d語文能力, 以我所知蔡繼有都好英語化.
同埋你地小朋友面試pui kiu 係考d咩架? 家長是否要面試呢?

姪兒正在讀小一。普通話有很大進步(由完全唔識至而家可以唸詩),英文暫時未能comment。只知他幾enjoy番學,老師們獎罰分明。校方亦很有誠意跟家長溝通。之前有家長擔心左派右派的問題亦未見出現, 唱國歌本應是公民教育的一部分。

我自己也去過CKY的簡介會，兩間學校很相似，但感覺上Pui Kiu中文會比較強。個人覺得中文較難掌握，所以暫時favour Pui Kiu College。傳言中CKY的學生比較好動，而小兒就較被動,有少少擔心。

對!普通話的確進步很快因每天在學校都要朗讀所有教個
的詩集,而英文每天都要閱讀兒童英文報紙(day7).

My son's putonghua has great improvement. He can speak fluently with us using putonghua.

For English part, he is now more initiative to read books. This might be affected by school's environment and studying culture.

His reading skill is better than before, but his spelling skill still require further improvement.

我有問我的小朋友是否真的用很多廣東話, 她就這樣答:

"上課教我地時是用普通話/英語, 冇用中文呀~~ 不過呢? 鬧人時和叫我們守秩序時, 如果我們唔聽唔到, 就會用好多中文喎!

我不太担心這個問題, 因為我知中學校真是全沒有用廣東話, 而我問過小二, 小三的小朋友情況, 他們都說上課都是不用廣東話.

我想~~~~ 如果你看見這個情況, 想必小一的小朋友給多些時間去適應吧了!

請教有小孩在培僑書院就讀的家長，
你們是否夫婦都有工作？還是其中一方專責照顧小孩？
聽說有些直資學校會盡量收一些家庭裡其太太是主婦，能有時間陪伴小孩的，其次是祖父母照顧的，靠菲嫞的，機會就小好多。
培僑會否如此？
請賜教。
