在雙學制的學校，讀IB怎不是精英？
讀IB的要經考核，考不到的便要讀DSE(NSS)，且一定有位 (指原校生，成績差到要留班出校另計)。會不會學生要讀DSE，才要考核，考不到便「唯有」讀IB？

According to DSS ruling,  local curriculum is by default.
You can consider that just like other private or DSS students apply for LPCUWC. If they don't apply LPC, nothing will happen.

Of course, most DSS and Private school students are proud of getting into LPC, not for DBS students. That's the difference.
