Really sympathetic on your situation! Think the most urgent thing is getting your passport

Just think out loud here, is there any ways to seek help from HK government like education dept, immigration dept? Your career and life are being badly affected, think it may be easier to draw media attention to help you bring public pressure to uk visa centre too, so any ways to connect with them?

Working in parallel is the liaison with IC admission office and your course dept to ask for flexibility.

Sorry can't offer you the real help but just think of something that you may consider!

咁ICL 都有啲奇怪好唔student friendly 喎，而且唔係九月尾先開學咩，而家未有visa 就叫人defer ??

Hallelujah, really a miracle, I call the post office this morning, they are so helpful to locate our document, then I go to the assigned post office directly, just get our passport back!! Really grateful that we can meet the flight tonight!

Hope miracle will happen to all of the anxious parents & students here!

My ticket is return one, so I will still go to London as soon as I have my passport and try to beg uni again. I aplied so early (11/August) and still dont have my passport.

我們是幸運的一批

22/8 填form 網上比埋快證錢
24/8 Walk in 交form, 離境日填1/9, 開學5/9
27/8 Decided
1/9 Not Recognized, 早上致電英國仍然是Decided，回覆一般3-5個工作天有email通知拿取, 最長試過10個工作天
1/9 1:22pm 收到email話到了office,
即上香港office 試取, 被拒
1/9 5:20pm 有郵局紀錄
2/9 9:16am 致電郵局說今天要上飛機，急要，主任回覆12點前送到
2/9 11:05am 郵差送件上門
2/9 23:55pm 飛

成個過程，UK簽證中心一直非常官方，香港郵局就非常友善和helpful!
