There will be an interview for the kid and the parents (separately but on the same day). At Reception (=K2) level the school principal will interview with the kid.
Parents - it feels more like a discussion rather than an interview. You can ask questions to the principal actually.

You can contact KIS for interview information.

我覺得本地小學都有啲功課輕鬆啲嘅選擇，讀 IS 要考慮埋中文教學同程度，文化，升中/大學涵接等…………如果唔諗住去外國留學，我覺得都係搵本地小學好啲

SWCS YMCA Christian School, Chinese and maths follow HK curriculum, others follow UK curriculum.

Think IS cost $8400 for year 1-3 in 2014-2015 academic year, no debenture as well

我答#25 & #33 嘛! CS 不是國際學校，是私立 EMI 小學，但教學模式和 IS 相近!

係呀! ymca 小學是比較新. 作為中產家庭, ymca 小學應該不錯. 但當然不可能與kinston, ycis 比較啦！

Check to see if the year of your entry coincides with the gov't's withdrawal of subsidy from ESF. Without subsidy, you may not find ESF's fees so very 平民化. You can try KCIS. Their campus is not very impressive, but fees are reasonable and at 20+, their class size is smaller than ESF. Seems to offer a better Chinese program as well. They are not IB, however - if that's is your concern.
