英國文化協會昨舉行中小學招生會，吸引大批家長和學生入場。

本港大學今年學制三改四，港大等本港院校接受到英國完成中六的港生，以英國中六公開試成績循非聯招報讀本港首屆四年制大學，料逾百人獲提早取錄。這「兜路法」既省一年留學開支又免考本港中學文憑試，漸在家長間廣傳。

英中六生可經非聯招取錄

英國文化協會昨舉行英國中小學教育展，32間學校即場招生，吸引1,000名家長和學生參觀。與讀中四女兒到場的鄭太將安排女兒明年赴英升學，「鶽家讀中學幾難，個女差唔多全日冇時間輕鬆」。

新高中09年起推行，不少高中生逃英留學。有了解英國學界消息人士透露，部份第12年級（中六）港生今年以公開試成績，透過非聯招入讀本港大學四年制課程。「英國啲中學好愕然，有學校第13年級（中七）唔見一半港生。應該英國高考先可同本地文憑試對比，鶽家英國中六都得，據知教育局都有保留」

如果經濟負擔得起，當然越早越好，個認為最遲都完成中二過英國都OK

From HKU NJ Admission, International Qualification Requirements

GCE A-level

For applicants who have completed the entire GCE A-level curriculum:
Grade E in three GCE Advanced Level subjects, not including any language subjects in English / Chinese.

GCE AS-level

For applicants who have completed GCE-AS level only:
Grade B in three GCE Advanced Subsidiary Level subjects, not including any language subjects in English / Chinese.

Cambridge Pre-U

Grade P3 or above in three Cambridge Pre-U Principal Subjects (other than English / Mandarin Chinese); or the award of the Cambridge Pre-U Diploma.

醒目。
以前家長們傾向重英輕中，所以越早越好。現在真實要兩文三語，兩者間要取得平衡。

其實而家囡囡d中文已經死死地

所以等佢讀多6年中文才過去升學

早去的好處係容易適應, 而且有研究顯示小朋友在15歲前跟native學外語會更容易學得好, 譬喻在口音方面另外我個人認為好的英國boarding school 是很有效訓練小朋友成長和獨立, 是訓練小朋友from boy to man, from girl to lady的過程來的.
當然, 太早送小朋友去外國又不好, 除了小朋友缺乏家長在身邊照顧外, 就是中文很難學好
我覺要平衡兩者year10 (中四)送去外國就最適合

Personally I think that finishing f2 and skipping f3, so entering year 10 after finishing f2 is the best idea~ cuz HK students are normally a year older than local British students, and so if they skip a year, then there won't be an age gap. Also I don't think year 9 is an important year, most people will manage even if they skip year 9.

My opinion is that local HK students should go in F1 and join year 9 in UK because most boarders make peer groups in year 9 unless the schools have many chinese students in year 10.
To study in UK, students should have cultural exchange with British students or students from other countries. If Hong Kong students just concern academic performance, their CV will have only exam results to write.
To have good social network is important for life and for job. Many boarders come from different countries. It is an invauable chance to make friends and know each other.
Hong Kong seems like a place lacking diversity and opportunity. To prepare future, get more connection to people from different part of world !

想問吓如想中三中四去英國讀,目的何在？是否可以容易些入HK的大學？另外如在英國找到一間好的Broading 學校,是否對他第日考IBDP成績也會高啲？
