我生亞女時未入籍, 所以亞女要申請,但有冇人知在香港可否申請呢? 或一定要亞媽帶個女去到加拿大申請呢?

可以嫁. 仲可以係香港既 Consulate General of Canada 幫妳囡囡攪埋 passport, 我女一日都未係 Toronto 住過咁就兩樣野都有, 佢地真係容易

Hi, 我女係我入籍之後係香港出世, 唔駛係加拿大出世係香港一樣可以申請到, 總之媽咪係 Canadian 囡囡幾時同邊到出世都一樣攪到.

其實我都問左 :
Dear Sirs / Madams,

How are you.

I would like to ask if the form CIT 0003 is the correct form to apply Canada citizen as my case below :

Me - Hong Kong permanent resident.
My wife - is Canada citizen since 1999, now temporary staying in Hong Kong.
My daugther - Hong Kong permanent resident, 13 years old was born in Hong Kong before my wife got the citizenship of Canada.

Question :

1) Now the case is, if my wife wants to apply my daugther to be the Canada citizen, is the form CIT 0003 download from your website to apply my case??

2) If the form CIT 0003 is the correct form, can my wife pass the form and pay the fee to the Consulate General of Canada in Hong Kong?? Or must pay the fee as instruction from your website and mail the form to your Case Processing Centre in Sydney??

Thanks in advance for your help and prompt reply.

Subject: GEN-008 Family Class sponsorship
Dear Sir,
Please be advised that Canadian citizenship is NOT conferred through marriage.  Immigrating to Canada and fulfilling residency obligations are required before one can apply for Canadian citizenship.

As such, you might be interested in Family Class immigration which involves 2 steps: sponsorship and permanent residence.  Once an application for sponsorship has been approved, then the application for permanent residence may then proceed.  Sponsorship applications are assessed in Canada at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, while we handle applications for family class permanent residence that have been referred to us by Canada.  Please refer to the Sponsorship Guide in the Sponsorship application (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp)  which states that both the sponsorship and permanent resident application packages must be sent to Mississauga.  Packages sent to a visa office will be returned unprocessed.

To learn more about Family Class immigration and to obtain forms, please go to the Citizenship and Immigration Canada web site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/sponsor/index.asp

With regards to citizenship for your child, if she was born AFTER your wife became a Canadian, please consult the Consular Section's web site about applying for her citizenship card: http://www.canadainternational.g ... u_id=17&menu=L.  Should you have queries in this regard, please contact the Consular Section directly.

If, however she was born BEFORE your wife became a Canadian, then she can be included in the Family Class immigration application.

咁既答覆,你們認為是否等於家庭團聚呢? 如果我想個女返加拿大讀書,可否一邊讀 PUBLIC SCHOOL ,一邊申請呢? 冇LAND 紙,可否入PUBLIC SCHOOL 呢?

Yes, I think for your case, they said it is sponsorship and family re-union. Then mom (who is a canadian citizen) will need to live in Canada and find a job to sponsor your husband and your child. Only after mom established the residency and a job is secure then mom can file in the family case application.
