Indian children that are in international schools are usually from very westernised families. Most of them have parents that speak better English than average Hong Kongers. The men mostly do not have turbans and they are very friendly to Hong Kong chinese people.
Good for them (some local Hong Kongers) to avoid international schools in Hong Kong. There is no place for people so biased. It is really sad isn't it? Chinese is still being looked down on in many ways (in western countries). And we as the victims ourselves as well, are despising people from another country.

Why are so many people holding on to 'being victims'?  It is simply because they are enjoying to make other people become victims.

選擇學校，十分多因素。
家長選擇國際學校，多數是因爲不想跟主流。
想中文多少少，可以選 ISF VSA 甚至 CKY。
不需要選直私。
國際學校之中，KJS/KGV 的確比較多人印度人， 但其他國際學校，印度人數目根本唔算多。

We pay high school fees hoping the children can speak native English and explore different cultures. If most fellow classmates are locals and may speak hk style English (or Filipino English as most common nowadays), why don't we put the children in a local school and save money?

很少人mention The Habour School, why? Not good?
將會開的SAIS, doing quite good in Singapore. Thinking 搏唔搏得過，實在太新了...

Actually if you study in local school, your classmates will not speak in English in school even in the top schools such as DGS( my friend's daughter is studying and she said so)!

I think one of the main reasons for this unreasonably high assessment/application fee is that many families would apply a number of IS in order to increase their chance of admission since the competition is so fierce.  Except a few, an incredibly expensive application fee would deter many applicants and ensure that the school would receive more serious applications.   At least, I am one of those who balked at $8000 and am really asking myself the question:  do I really want to place my child in GSIS?  or is it just one of the "options" in case he got lucky with GSIS while turned down by others?

為何覺得RC 好過ESF 又易入過ESF 呢？to be specific , 邊方面去比較呢？從基本資料來看，RC 和ESF 的curriculum 不一樣，RC 係所有form 行IB, 有說這樣所以學費貴d。RC 課程好d or ESF 好d？我未夠道行評論

This topic is a discussion of ESF schools.
As far as I see, indian and chinese students in ESF schools do not speak Hong Kong style English.

RC 我覺得比ESF selective, 可能我係用esf kinder student 考RC / ESF year 1 的角度來看, ESF 有機會in 就大機會收, 反而RC 一半半. 如果說其他插班生, 就不太清潔.
