I think your girl should be involved in making decision cos' she is the user. Discuss with her the Pros and Cons and let her express her own will.

Learning in DGS is, of course,  a different life. Is it worser ? or better ? It depends on how children act and react while facing challenge.

This is generally true for all popular elite schools!!  Students learnt everything at home before they are taught at school.

i agree that Students should well prepared before attending classes, but if they have learnt all at home before going to shool, 咁學校用來做甚麼?得個名話自己讀名校?

我覺得DGS係面試時問呢條題目都好喎！

Probably it may not be all the fault on the part of school.  In some cases, parents are so eager to push their girls to be "ahead" of the class. When everyone else in the class have learnt the subject material, it will be hard for "elite" parents to allow their girls to be lefe behind. But then it may be a form of positive competition.
