最近教普通話"我愛你"............仔仔對住老師做左D SILLY 野   笑死人

其實我開始對MW有改觀, 我本以為MW英文教學會比中文出色, 不過經過一年多改觀了.
普通話老師真係幾細心下, 又多大家溝通! 比個先
阿仔已經開始嘗試同佢講野,當然都係一個雲禁, 不過兩個月已經成績不錯.

Hi all,

Really appreciate you sharing about the learning of MW (PE) here. My daughter is studying in PN class now. Thinking about if I should let her stay here for kindergarten. I have York's local class and St Johannes College Kindergarten's offer. St Johannes, which is in Kowloon Tong, has a primary school. Really like the fact the MW has the English/ Putonghua stream. My daughter is happy here so far. The teachers are nice and caring. I'm not sure how experienced they are though. Really depends on the individual teacher. If I let her stay for kindergarten, I'm afraid that their competitiveness for P1 isn't as good as York's. Please comment. Want to make the decision soon. Many thanks.

自己本身好唔LIKE小朋友返下午班, 所以一定選上午, 除非QUALITY差好好好遠啦.

學校"宣稱"來年K一定要N直昇, 不接收外來生, 而且自己N都收唔哂, WAITING LIST好多.
我深信未來方向一定會禁行, 不過我覺得暫時仍未得.
不過一定一年比一年多, 到左有自己讀左4年的優良考小成積就是時候.

純以數字來分析, 5班N, 3班K, 直入率是60%.
不過N班不是每所學校都有, 到K1家長就多左選擇,有部份人會選有學劵.
加上龍校, 其他名校收左轉校等, 其實直入率大大提高度(MW流失率都唔細)
所以直昇如否個人覺得不是一個好大的考慮點.
重點是妳喜歡那所學校的教育系統及師資.

以上純粹吹水, 不構成選校標準, 家長自己評估風險

HI MsSS,

You are exactly getting the same issue that I faced on last year. Haha.
I think you should list out the pros and cons of those 3 schools and weight in marks to compare.

Below is just my personal exp and share with you.

If I were you, I am pretty sure I will first to ignore SJC offer as of the follow:
1. Pls take note the NET teachers are sharing with P school and there is no NET class teacher for K.
    Net teacher only come to class for Phonics while most of the time are conducted by local teacher
    (PS local teacher will teach in the class in English as well)
2. You should heard that most of the teachers are "escape" in the scandal in a few years ago.
    Therefore most of the teachers are greens and the adm is a mess.
3. Further more, they are expecting yr daughter must go to their P school, therefore no primary school selection support in K.
4. Their primary school is running IB, therefore you would expect yr girls are likely go to IS secondary school as well.

謝謝！真係好開心有AM, 近近地自己帶返學，唔駛搭校車（校車issue ...你明啦)。其實早前去家長會 陳校長 （親述）來年收少d N班，希望做到N直上K.......唯有信住佢先啦

Sorry for late reply as very busy these days!

太子明慧只有國際斑, 所以每班一定有一個NET.
所以起碼有十個以上, 我識的起碼有六個NET.
不過NET定義人人不同, 如果ABC不算就有起碼兩個.

恕我直言, 妳的擔心有小小奇怪!
妳去報名前唔知MW師生分配就去報? 按LOGIC, 如果無NET要4200學費米好貴.

學校Extra買DVD已到了, 不過可以講好廢下.
英文個隻要INSTALL, 只可以係PC睇極不方便.
而有一隻互動DVD要自己每CHEAPER選, 好煩.

建議未買家長唔駛買, 幾百蚊買課外書睇更有用.
