請問在師資上(MCS), 可否說多少少, 如何好d呢?

Just to share:-

My daughter is a P.2 student in St. Mary’s.  According to her, she has a happy school life.

The school offers special help to those with lower standard but I do not have much information on this aspect.  Competition among the top ranking students in class is keen (I think this is a normal phenomenon in many schools).  For instance, my daughter ranked no. 10 in the first semester in P. 1 with the average marks of 91.xx or 92.xx (sorry, I forgot the exact numbers).  In the second semester, she ranked no. 8 with average marks of about 93.

Teaching media is Chinese except Science and English.  The school quite emphasizes in Chinese and she encourages the girls to memorize ancient Chinese poems.

To me, both MCS and St. Mary’s are good schools.  However, as a parent, I think what and how we offer and educate our children is much more important.  We should not totally rely on the school.

yes, you're right. But...好似話只有全級頭80名才肯定是band 1生, 即是考81名也可能是band 2而要跟其他band 2 生(可能考1xx) 一齊抽餘下的直屬學額,

如果是band 2頭最後抽唔到但見到成績比自己差很多的band 2尾同學抽到真係幾傷.

所以讀mcs壓力大就是要keep到全級頭80名.

因為有成績調整機制，學校評定為Band 2的學生，有部份在升中派位時教統局會編入Band 1的。每年約有7成學生可以原校升讀。

係呀！我個女有宗教個５分+埋有２Ｏ分，其實係小學概覽裏有提到上年mcs小一有185個位，而st.mary有128個位，50%用來做第一round即係有93個位，而出result當日我先生數過大約有九十幾個名。 :  :  :
