其實也不太複雜，會不會中文在他那年紀根本沒大關係，因為正常香港大的小朋友也不見得認識多少字。
由於你要在學期中插班K2，在一般本地學生為主的幼稚園，因為學生流動性低，有學額的機率比較低，所以你應該主要考慮去國際學校幼稚園插班K2，因為那裡的學生流動性大，即使在學期中也可能會有學額；然後你再考慮繼續在國際學校幼稚園讀K3還是去明年九月去其他本地幼稚園插班K3。
基於上述思路，你現在應該在網上查查資料，然後寫email或打電話問插K2一事，當然你也可以問那些本地幼稚園，但你的重點應該是國際幼稚園。。。。K2/K3插班事宜，不同於K1入讀，每間幼稚園都有不同政策，只有幼稚園自己內部知道，你必須得逐一聯繫他們。

Thanks for all the information.  想知國際幼稚園係唔係冇中文堂呢？因為始終想仔仔可以學中文，另外學費貴又是另一考慮因素，thanks....

Great.... I am feeling headache about the school system in HK, probably it just too easy and simple when compare to US, 第時可以多d交流....

I have just called a kindergarten that I like but they dont take 插班生。I will call other kindergarten to find out the timing for application. Hope they won't need interview coz I am pregnant now and won't be able to go back for it.

First congratulation, my daughter is just 5.5 months old as well, do you mind to share which KG you just called?  We are going back to HK end of next month and back to US on Sep, plan to move back permanently around Nov and Dec, think that need to call the KG now and prepare for the interview when we back to HK, cos my thought is all the HK's KG needs an interview....
