If i don't get email or letter by 5/1, does it mean we r rejected or r they giving out rejection letters? I know they r doing sec in already. Or even done.

I heard from friends that 2nd interview for FY will be conducted in Feb.

Congratulations !!!

If the format is the same as last year, in the second interview one of the VPs would meet the family. There would be some chatting about standard questions e.g. why do you choose the school? what would be your expectations? If your family is non-chinese-speaking, what would be your plan in supporting your child in the schoolwork?

Though I also heard some failed cases but the success rate should be  high at this stage. So relax and think about those questions beforehand.

Thanks for your reply.
Just recalled there will be no preference to the language of the Parent-Child interview (like what it said in the email) as ISF knows we might not be a native English or  Mandarin speakers. We may choose Cantonese!

We were told on the first interview day that 5/1 will be the last day for us to receive second int notice.

Just wonder if any one know on average about what % of kids who get second usually? Just want to get a sense of being in the second in, what's the probability in getting into the school.

Our interview is next wed. We picked Cantonese too. I heard it does not really matter.

Correct me if I am wrong. Heard there were 2500 applicants this year and 280 got 2in and they will be accepting around 100 kids.
