We plan to apply pre-nursery for our daughter.  There are two streams - one is international and the other is local.  What's the difference?  If I do intend to send my daughter to local schools - will international stream be disadvantageous?  On the other hand, I would like my daughter to build a good foundation in English and Mandarin.

報明慧是因為近屋企, 加上佢有英文, 國語同日文讀, 感覺好似好豐富咁, 會報名入紙。

My BB born in end of Dec 09.  Plan to apply for international stream, but not sure if disadvantageous if I intend to send her to local primary schools.  What about u?

You plan to send your son to commence in Aug 2012 or Jan/Feb 2012?  Which stream (local/international) will you go for?  I plan to pick the international stream, but some say that if I plan to send her to local schools my daughter would be disadvantageous as kindergarten and primary interviews are conducted in Cantonese and not English/Mandarin.

My daughter will commence  international pre-nursery class in Jan 2012 ('cos she is a small B) - PM session.  What about your child?  Maybe they'll be classmates...

學校話international class會由一個廣東話老師同一個外籍老師做班主任
但係八月係適應返學嘅月份
所以九月先有外籍老師

另外K1開始到K3就係一個普通話老師加一個外籍 ...

Do you know why the fees for book is so expensive?  We had to pay some HKD2XXX for books/semester for international stream.

How are the teachers so far in the international stream?  My daughter will join in Jan.........
