| it really depends on the ranking of the waiting list. According to my experience, writing letter doesn't guarantee you a waiting list seat, but would definitely move up your ranking. Some of the school even write down how many times do you call, how many letters do you send, and how do you give the letter out, e.g. by mail, in person....etc |
