Exactly!
The kids in Hong Kong don't even have enough time to sleep or rest nowadays.   Is that something we should be proud of?

most people care about academic results only nowadays.  That's really sad.

The concern is understandable.

But perhaps we may want to consider learning too much too early is another way of 學壞 too?  It is twisting the kid's mind and turning his brain into a hard disk (instead of being creative).

The difference?
Monterssori encourages kids to learn at different pace.  Each kid's interest is different and they learn different things at different times.

Our current system is pushing lots information to you early (the more the better in their theory) no matter you like it or not.  

To me, it has nothing to do with whether the kid is talented or able to learn the difficult stuff early or not.  It is a matter of pushing information to you vs encouraging you to learn and be creative.
