The information from these parents may not be reliable and I think that DBS might have only admitted 30 students in Dec last year. Also, I think that it is immaterial to know which school's students can fulfil most criteria of DBS's admission requirements as DBS's selection criteria is fair and traditonal for over a century.

DBS said they chose the kids based on school reports before they get the terrritory-wide ranking.
So they will only have a look at the ranking list afterwards and make sure the kids they accept are in the upper range. eg. the kid is within the top XXX or not.
They found that top 400 sometimes is even smarter than top 299.
The ranking won't affect their decision. Interview is more crucial for them to choose the smarter kid.

KTS上年得兩位學生入DBS, 今年竟有9位, 真的好勁

但上年KTS是4 位入SPCC(但當中有女孩), 2位入LS, 現在你收到料話9位入DBS, 看來都是今年勁好多, 現在你說已經收了, 還未計算4月份正式公報時, 會再加多D, 為什麼今KTS咁勁呢?

Last year 2 boys gave up DBS and went to SPCC. Otherwise, there should be 4 to DBS.
It is heard that last year girls were outperformed boys.

Up to now, 9 were given offer from DBS, but 2 were quitted. So only 7 left.
But I guess 2 more will quit soon. The last outcome should be 5 to DBS finally.
There are a lot of sports talents this year.

Still remember I were sitting beside u in the P1 first day luncheon gathering 6 years ago.
Hope that our sons will become schoolmates again next year.

小桃兒呀! 恭喜你的叻仔。 而我自己+個囝囝都是好平常心去面對, 當年轉校都是想輕鬆D去學習, 在KTS已經要勤力, 要有好成績就要加倍努力, 而我+囝囝都是懶人
