I know that parent who has four daugters studying in HY mentioned in the newspaper. She said she really felt disappointed about this change. Actually, though I don't have any daughter, I still get frustrated as many good christian schools have changed to DSS. I think parents of HY should voice out and try to express your opposite view on this issue.

I always wonder if being a DSS school is really good to the students. My friends who work in the education field always tell me that the turn over rate of teachers would be higher actually for DSS schools .. (because it's less stable in the eyes of teachers? or because it is more demanding?! I don't know)
Also the very top students would choose other famous govt subsidised schools. Unless the DSS schools are the very very top ones and the parents are rich enough to let them study.
