會以中文為主，英文作輔助，這個是收海外人嘅hurdle。

所以來中國海外學生多數中文有基礎，而且傾向讀中國文化方面。

你quote 果個排名充滿水份，你嘅common sense 好過這些排名。

MIT CalTech, Stanford, Oxbridge，ICL engineering 就算唔贏清華，都平手。

Best Colleges

U.S. News & World Report Best Colleges Ranking is an annual set of rankings of colleges and universities in the United States, which was first published by U.S. News & World Report in 1983. It has been described as the most influential institutional ranking in the country.

The Best Colleges rankings have raised controversy, and they have been denounced by several education experts. Detractors argue that they rely on self-reported, sometimes fraudulent data by the institutions, encourage gamesmanship by institutions looking to improve their rank, imply a false precision by deriving an ordinal ranking from questionable data, contribute to the admissions frenzy by unduly highlighting prestige, and ignore individual fit by comparing institutions with widely diverging missions on the same scale.

In October 2014, U.S. News & World Report published its inaugural "Best Global Universities" rankings. Inside Higher Ed noted that U.S. News was entering into the international college and university rankings area which was "dominated by three major global university rankings", namely the Times Higher Education World University Rankings, the Academic Ranking of World Universities, and the QS World University Rankings. Robert Morse, "U.S. News's chief data strategist," said that "it's natural for U.S. News to get into this space". He said that U.S. News "will also be the first American publisher to enter the global rankings space".

原來US News 有77年歷史，第一次出世界大學ranking 係2014年，即係11年。頭幾年俾人鬧，其他美國主流媒體有這些評論，

The Washington Post noted that some U.S. institutions rank lower on U.S. News' global ranking than on their domestic ranking, in particular Princeton, which was named the top university in the U.S. in the 2015 domestic ranking but was ranked behind nine other U.S. universities (and three U.K. universities) in the 2015 global ranking. This was attributed to the global ranking concentrating on "research prowess", while the "undergraduate experience", for which uniform international data is hard to obtain, was not included.[6] Forbes, which, along with many others, has roundly criticized the U.S. News ranking of American colleges,[7] praised the U.S. News global ranking as being mostly based upon "objective measures" and representing a "worthy" evaluation scheme.[8]
