In view of the epidemic development of COVID-19 and the extended class suspension as announced by the
Education Bureau, the group interviews scheduled in March 2020 will be cancelled. Letter detailing the latest arrangements regarding S1 Discretionary Places Application will be issued. - Extra-curricular activities: 7.5%

因教育局宣佈延長假期至4月20日，時間所限，校方未能安排所有報名同學進行面試。鑑於公平原則，本校決定取消「中一自行分配學位」面試。請家長留意本校最新的「中一自行分配學位」評分準則：

「中一自行分配學位申請」事宜

茲因新型冠狀病毒感染確診及懷疑個案增加，教育局宣布全港學校延長停課，並不早於四月二十日復課，停課期間，所有學校活動暫停，經學校評估風險後，為保障老師及各申請學生的健康及安全，本校決定取消原訂於三月十四日舉行的面試。取消面試後，評分標準中佔 20%的「面試表現」將會刪除，其他項目會按比例增加。獲甄選進入下一階段遴選的同學，可自行決定向本校呈交一段「兩分鐘的自我介紹」影片，作為補充資料，有關詳情本校將會個別發信通知。

- There are two parts for the online interview. In the first part, each applicant will be given one minute for a self-introduction while for the second part they will take part in a 11-minute group discussion. The interview will be conducted in both Cantonese and English. Together with the preparation and set-up time, it will last for about 30 minutes.

自行收生面試安排 (25/2/2020更新)
由於教育局宣佈不會早於20/4/2020復課，本校將取消28/3/2020（星期六）到校面試，改為安排申請者於家中運用電子器材及程式進行評估。請留意以下日程：

(1) 5/3/2020(星期四)：學校向所有申請者發信講解有關評估的詳情。

(2) 13/3/2020(星期五)：家長若於12/3/2020仍未收到有關信件，可致電學校查詢。

(3) 21/3/2020(星期六)：早上10:00進行測試，讓所有申請者於指定時間模擬進行一次評估程序。

(4) 28/3/2020(星期六)：早上10:00 開始進行正式評估

(5) 7/4/2020(星期二)：學校按教育局所訂的日期通知正取生的家長。

由於教育局宣佈再次延遲復課日期至不早於4月20日，為保障家長、同學及學校職員的健康，學校決定取消小六升中一面試，而本年度自行分配學位階段的收生甄選準則及比重調整如下︰

1.      學業成績︰70%；
2.      課外活動及服務︰30%。

學校將於完成甄選程序後，在4月7日通知所有正取學生的家長。是次修訂，實屬非不得已，懇請各位諒解。感謝各位家長對本校的支持和青睞。

In consideration of the development of the novel coronavirus epidemic, the EducationBureau does not suggest conducting interview sessions for the S1 discretionary places ofthis academic year in order that the spread of the virus in the campus can be averted andthe health of students can be protected. With the approval of our school’s IncorporatedManagement Committee, the interview scheduled for 14th March, 2020 (Saturday) iscancelled.

Meanwhile, the admission criteria and proportions are modified as follows:

Other admission criteria:
1. Students with poor conduct will not be considered for admission.
2. The school will admit applicants with outstanding performance in special talents, thenumber of which will not exceed 10% of the total places.
3. For applicants of the same score under the admission criteria, priorities will be givento those with connections to True Light (e.g. mother being an alumna / sister beingan alumna or being a current student of the school)。

Applicants will be informed of the above arrangement by mail.

The revised admission criteria, subject to the approval of the Incorporated Management Committee of CCC Kei Yuen College, will be announced in early March. The Education Bureau has announced an extension of the New Notification Arrangements from 31 March (Tuesday) to 7 April (Tuesday). Successful applicants will be notified both by mail and by phone on 7 April.

因應新型冠狀病毒的疫情仍有擴散風險，教育局宣布暫定不早於 4 月 20 日星期一復課。為減低疫症傳播，本校原定於 3 月 21 日星期六舉行的中一自行收生面試將改以自行攝錄形式進行。
貴子弟須於 3 月 9 日至 16 日期間，到本校網頁下載＜中一自行收生面試指引＞，按指引內容攝錄不多於 5 分鐘的中文短講及英文朗讀錄像，並於 3 月 16 日中午前透過本校網頁上載短講錄像作面試評分依據。未能於限期內上載錄像的申請人其面試部分將不獲評分。

本校將按 貴子弟的學業成績(40%)、錄像表現(40%)及個人特質(20%)作整體評審的依據。按教育局規定，如 貴子弟獲接納為自行分配學位正取學生名單，本校將於 4 月 7 日透過書面郵寄及電話通知家長。
