會考成績及教學語言摘要:
In 2004 and 2005, the percentages of students with five or more passes, and those with
14 or more points in the best six subjects in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education
Examination (HKCEE) were above the territory level, whereas in 2006 the
corresponding percentages were below the territory level.
The school needs to manoeuvre with sensitivity its MOI policy in the best interest
of students by focusing on the prime target of maximizing their learning outcomes
which should be recognized as central to the long-term viability of the school’s
development and competitiveness. To this end, the school has to revisit and reflect on
its MOI policy in terms of the proficiency and readiness of students and teachers; the
appropriateness of the pace and extent with which it is being taken forward; and the
adequacy and effectiveness of support measures, including the effective provision of a
language-rich environment for both English and Putonghua.
