收到SPCC取錄通知了

首先恭喜各位的囝囝囡囡收到 interview 通知書。現將去年 SPCC 的面試形式約略告之，希望對各位有幫助。請記住每年的面試形式都有不同，所以以下資料謹供參考。

面試在禮堂舉行，分作三區：中文、普通話及英文。每區均有不同老師負責不同學生，形式是單對單。所以分 group 的意思是同一個 group 在同一時間內齊齊落禮堂，然後分開面試，並沒有 group discussion. (今年有冇唔知！)題目方面每 group 不同，防止 group  與 group 互通消息。

中文方面，會俾一篇文章你睇，睇完收番。然後問你一 D 文章內的問題，多是思考性的，如你是主人翁你會怎樣做。接著會問一 D 普通問題，例如平時做乜，亦會問下時事，不過唔使分析。

普通話方面是給你一個 topic 去發揮，例如春節。

英文方面是給你看一段短片，然後問你短片的內容。接著會給你一段 passage (就是短片的內容！)，要你 fill in the blanks，是一些 grammar or vocab。

你可以見到，如此面試內容其實不需怎樣預備，不用死記任何東西，最重要是臨場發揮，保持輕鬆愉快的心情便成。記住，他們已是千多名報考生中的精英，就算真係唔得都唔係代表佢地差，所以千祈唔好俾咁大壓力。

Dress code:  除非校方特別聲明，否則請穿校服。

Letter received too.
So surprised 'cause the kid in my home is studying in a fairly famouse subsidized primary school. And she's placed top 10 in form only. We've never expected much on the chance of being screened for an interview for SPCC. For years we've just been wishing to get a place in a "not bad" subsidized EMI school.
Really grateful to the good news.

Dear parents,
I also received the interview letter but my daughter refused to attend the interview.  She said she didn't want to attend any more interview.  In fact, she has just gone to interview for once only in DGS.  So, I think I should not push her too much as she has been accepted a place in DGS already.

Finally he finished interview today, there were a lot of smart students around. It is very competitive. I told my son it is a "win" already as he was selected in such interview. Now, we need to wait for March 10 again....

不用太擔心，妳的兒子應該機會很大，因為學校提名的人數每年都祗是得數十人，所以如果你在中文及普通話兩項都表現得好的話，它們現時的小學現都是中文小學，所以英文那項不是很重要的。但是如果SPCC收妳的兒子，妳會如何決擇呢? 妳是否己交了其它直資的留位嗎?

其實我地都考慮緊如果spcc收既話,去唔去讀.....不過而家都唔去諗住,到左有結果先算.
佢係有直資收左仲免學費, 不過唔使留位既.

妳仔仔真係好叻，有直資學校收仲有獎學金，是否男校 ?                如果是由學校提名的話，SPCC都會有機會取到入學獎學金，更有機會於考試後獲得三年學費的獎學金。    妳是否己交出小六學生資料表呢? 咁妳知唔知如果想取回又有無問題呢?

佢唔係咩叻仔, 不過可能好彩d.
我地都知有獎學金可以考, 不過又係機會唔大.
我地唔使交出小六學生資料表, 只係該校有信通知我地留左學位.

Dear all BK parents,
Can I ask if any of you guys applied for the Young Talent Scholarship for your kids?
I applied for my daughter and she was given a individual interview apart from the normal one.
I want to know the successful rate of it.
Will be grateful if you could advise.

未in前叫個仔relax,不用認真(以致拘謹), 因為要數讀書叻有排未到佢, 所以he could be himself (多咀, 愛說笑), 無論如何, 有得
in已經係一種認同。

返出來時, 亞仔話中文及普通話都in得唔好, 續故事個 part 好悶，發展下去也平平無奇;

反而英文 group discussion 發揮到長處 (喜歡拗), 兩男一女，主要是亞仔同女仔拗來拗去，笑到老師計時器都掉地....

聽到亞仔咁講，我覺得考唔入都無遺憾喇。:loveliness:

I wonder if "學校提名" and get accepted, will SPCC notify the primary school earlier than Mar 10? The reason I asked is because SPCC did send a letter to school after they received the 學校提名 application few months ago.

係唔係SPCC會有信寄返學校呢? 係咪你間小學話返比你知，咁知唔知有幾多人係由"學校提名"呢!
