Many wor, no priority, did not buy debenture. I knew at least 10 in a school. other than that, some are having foreign passports.There is a lucky draw mechanism to select who will be offering an interview. Only sibling, staff, debenture are sure to have priority of interview. after which, they will be offered a place if found suitable.

Each school has about 160 places, if minus sibling, staff and debenture (30 each school), it may still have 100 ? (i am not sure) for lucky draw to select for interview. Among these 100 places, those having foreign passports may occupy some quota (at least 70%?) for interview, if foreign passport application are more than that quota, there I trusted still have a lucky draw to select those having foreign passports. I am guessing that is why some foreign passports application complaining that they did not get even an interview.

The remaining (30% or more out of the 100 places) will be for those with nothing, just luck, as solely by lucky draw for a chance of interview.

I’m just feeling that most spaces are already filled by sibling, staff and debenture holders and not much spaces left for others even though they had a play visit opportunity

Most of the case is that, the elder goes in first and the younger one got the offers later. Do you know does the elder one have better chance for interview or to get an offer, if the younger one got admitted?

But then that's history?
The $500000 debenture is only introduced in oct 2019, there are still 30% of spaces for ppl with nth?!

Kinder debentures 係有quota 架，好似total 150 for 5 kinder (pls fact check with Esf admission) . 咁我唔知150 個要平均分俾5間定冇限制。咁一間kinder ,sibling around 40-50, so you can assume 80 places are being taking by high priority students.

我記得school tour 提過400幾人報名，收174 左右, 呢400幾我估包埋priority 人士 eg staff, debenture etc ?

你知唔知active waiting list 同 second interview 邊個排得前d?

Active waiting list 係咪跟random # 收？

Yes thats true, 30 debenture, roughly 50 sibling and staff?, only 50% left for foreign passports and N無. 80 places left.
If 300 applies for this 80 places, 26% probability.

In the years before through train, about 50% are siblings and alumni etc. I expect more siblings will choose ESF kinder now due to through train priority, in the past some siblings will study elsewhere due to geographical reason.
So 90siblings + 30 debenture, I guess only 40 for N 無，40/300 = 13%

Strange that those who passed on the first place have lower priority than sec in

I heard that AWL will give out offer based on interview performance
Not sure if this is true too

我們是有foreign passport 冇買debenture 冇siblings , 收到offer。
未in 之前，收到電郵話會落入waiting ，估唔到有offer :)
