NAIS students' discipline

Hi, any NAIS parents can share more about the conduct and discipline of NAIS students ? We are so glad that my son got a nursery offer from NAIS.  We have heard a lot of good things about NAIS teaching and other academic initiatives.  We are just not so sure if NAIS is doing equally well on the conduct / discipline aspect.  I'm well prepared for a more "free-style" type of learning environment (and that's what we are looking for),  just wanna know if things like bullying common at NAIS ? Are the students at upper grades like Yr 7 or above serious about their learning ? Many many thanks !!!

I think the discipline is well balanced. I know from my younger that kids have sunshine chart in the class and can drop to cloudy and even thunder cloud where he/she will need to meet the Head teacher of the grade for a talk. My kid described her class teacher as nice and serious.
All kids are encouraged to try their best. The house system works well.

From my observations, the students there are generally well disciplined.  Teachers focused heavily on the conduct of students and any conduct issue will be discussed with parents in the bi-annual consultations.  Of course, like every other schools, there are always bad apples like those who bully. I do see the same issue in other schools though.
